Welcome to the Middlefield, Connecticut Lions Club Website

The Middlefield Lions Club is very excited to be celebrating our 52nd year of service to our community. |
Over the years people remember the Middlefield Lions Club as the folks who sold light bulbs door to door, had an annual carnival at Peckham Field and Center School (which has since been turned into the Community Center), raised money for eye research, collected eye glasses to give to the needy, sold hot dogs, hamburgers and of course our famous sausage and pepper grinders at the Durham Fair. Did you know that the Middlefield Lions Club also made the storm windows for the town’s Levi Coe library? In fact, the Middlefield Lions Club has provided all kinds of great things all over our town, and the world, for that matter. There are roughly 1.4 million Lions on the planet and we all have a similar theme, we make life better. I could go on and on. The Middlefield Lions Club does have a few rules that we must follow. Firstly, membership is by invitation. Secondly, EVERY dollar that we make goes back to the community that we serve. My personal rule is that we have fun doing what we do. If you are interested in the Middlefield Lions Club and have a desire to serve your community, or you have a project that you would like to see done, then please e-mail me and include your phone number. I would be happy to talk to you. Thank-you.Lynn Johnson, President Middlefield Lions Club |
